For nearly two decades Terre De Sacha has been saturated with the Divine Light of the Gayatri Mantra. This is our offering to the world. Our spiritual discipline is simply our way of being. Therefore, how we are when we are here with friends and family, is not only a practice, it is an offering to the Sanctuary and to each other. How we are in our daily life IS our ‘way’.
May your stay benefit you profoundly. When you depart from Terre de Sacha, you carry the blessings you have gathered, to those who surround your life.
A few things to consider;
- Terre de Sacha is maintained by the people who visit. In this way, we require that everyone keep their rooms clean and tidy, beds made before breakfast.
- Shoes are removed upon entering any of the rooms or buildings.
- The kitchen is a temple. We ask that all those in the kitchen remain in silence. In the event that one needs to talk as part of food preparation, please do so with a quiet voice.
- Single strapped rubber-bottom “slider” shoes, also known as beach or sauna shoes, must worn in the kitchen. Please bring an appropriate pair with you. For more information about TdS Kitchen shoes, please visit https://www.shantimayi.com/tds-shoes.
- Conserve water when showering or ‘washing up’.
- The weather can change quickly at TdS. Be sure to bring a flashlight (torch), sunhat, warm clothes. Please dress modestly while at TdS.
- Bedding is provided. You will need to bring a towel.
- We ask that you use organic soaps, shampoo.
- Laundry may not be available so please bring enough clothes for the duration of your stay. (If laundry is permitted, there will be a small fee for use.)
- Please, do not remove or rearrange paintings, or items in the rooms or add any of your own ideas, decorations or other ‘things’ to the rooms or the surrounding grounds.
- Upon departure, we ask that your room be as it was when you arrived.
Our Sanctuary is a refuge, a sacred dwelling, where the blessings of nature and creative spirit flourish. We appreciate all contributions of wood working, gardening, or any skill that you may have to improve Terre de Sacha Nature Sanctuary. This kind of contribution will be considered in meetings with our resident manager, Indro.
Please We Ask:
- Use the compost toilets during the day and the flush toilets at night only.
- No paper or foreign items in any of the toilets please.
- It is very important to keep the kitchen / dinning room very clean and uncluttered with food, left dishes and cups.
- There are no ‘house keeping services’ at Terre de Sacha. We all pitch in just like at home.
- A cook for your meals can be arranged.
Please request your needs with the resident manager, Indro.
Being here is a privilege for all. Here, we have a gathering of great hearts and beautiful souls. It is important to remember that Terre de Sacha Sanctuary depends on all of us, to be the great haven that it is. We all create a wonderful experience for those who are here now and for those to come.
Donations
Just like all of ShantiMayi’s work, Terre de Sacha is supported by donation. Your donation is used to buy food, materials, utility bills and the cost of maintaining and necessary repair work on the property throughout the year.
The minimum donation to cover food and accommodation will be confirmed by Indro prior to the finalization of your booking.
A donation to ShantiMayi for Offerings including Satsangs, Intensives, Meditations, and private meetings, separate from the one above, will be made at the end of your stay.
REMEMBER…
It is very important to spend time in nature alone and with each other.
You enhance an atmosphere of grace and blessings because you care as you do.
Your Presence Here
Is Truly Precious
Sitting or walking among the stones, along the
streams and rivers, in the forests and though
the mountains brings a message to our
Mother Earth, that she is seen,
loved and appreciated.
Generosity is a great spiritual current,
natural to nature. Like a free flowing river
that quickly returns to an oceanic heart.
Thank You for all you do to make
Terre de Sacha Nature Sanctuary
an excellent experience.
This Sacred Place is Divine
and a wonderful refuge.
ALWAYS ALWAYS WELCOME !
